Current Openings
Production Planner
Responsible for planning, coordinating and staging incoming Aircraft Service project necessities to ensure a successful project completion. The Production Planner will ensure all aspects of the job have been addressed prior to the aircraft arrival, i.e. open a work order, order parts and special tools, complete the scripting process, develop work flow and prepare work packs for leads. The Planner will also monitor projects and proactively make adjustments as necessary to the script while working closely with Scheduling. 5 years experience in a related aviation position is required as is the ability to interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical directive. Qualified candidate must be capable of working with a team in a fast pace and demanding environment. A&P certificate or FCC license is preferred.
Service Manager
Service Managers oversee and manage aircraft operations successfully, profitably and safely while meeting goals and expectations of the customer and the company. Duties include but are not limited to: overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, serving as liaison between customer and Western Aircraft, providing cost estimates and obtaining approvals, administration of work orders, and timely delivery of employee performance appraisals. Qualified candidate must be certified under part 65, have a minimum of 5 years recent experience in corporate aviation, experience managing projects and mentoring a team of 8 or more plus excellent communication and computer skills.
Government Contract Manager
Responsible for coordinating RFQ efforts the Contract Manager will be the first point of contact and will maintain established contracts as well as identify new business opportunities with government or other specialty customers. Responsibilities include: Help customer in determining the best resolution for their aircraft mission profile, assist with the formulation of proposals, ensure RFQ responses have proper cash flow/milestone billing/lead time, maintain high level of customer service, and coordinate periodic updates. Requirements include: Working knowledge of business aviation (maintenance/avionics), knowledge of government contracts, ability to work in a fast pace/high energy environment and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Qualified candidate must have thorough knowledge of MS Office, excellent communication skills and the ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or technical degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in a related field in the aircraft industry.
Cabinetry Craftsman
Qualified candidate will fabricate and modify aircraft cabinets and perform other duties that support cabinet construction in corporate aircraft. Required skills include: Ability to construct and/or modify corporate aircraft cabinetry utilizing industry standard tools/equipment; interpretation of blueprints, engineering drawings or sketches in order to build/modify cabinetry; ability to apply veneer, laminate and hardwood to cabinets; general sheet metal, fiberglass, and plastic fabrication knowledge as it applies to aircraft cabinetry construction. Must be results driven and detail oriented. Excellent communication skills and ability to successfully problem solve are also required.
Avionics Technician
Seeking Avionics Technicians with a minimum of three years recent experience working on Corporate Aircraft. Preference will be given to technicians who have Falcon, Hawker, or Pilatus airframe experience. Qualified candidates will have proven leadership abilities as well as experience in installation, line troubleshooting, bench repair, and structural modification. This position also requires the ability to read and fabricate wire harnesses from a schematic. Valid driver’s license, occasional travel, and rotating on-call support required. Positive Team attitude and a willingness to exceed expectations is a must.
Lead - Interior Install Technician
Responsibilities include 5 or more years experience in corporate VIP aircraft interior completions to include removal and installation as well as stripping and covering of interior components. Successful applicant will possess ability to lead team to a successful completion of project ensuring a high quality product with strong emphasis on safety. Demonstrate attention to detail while maintaining proper care & protection of customer property with a high desire to exceed expectations. Preference is given to technicians with corporate business jet interior skills (upholstery, carpet fitting, cabinet and other related aircraft interior installations) Engineering, Design and Procurement interface experience. Some travel may be required. Candidate must be available to work overtime as necessary.
Aircraft Maintenance Technicians II & III
Seeking certified Airframe & Powerplant Technicians with three or more years of recent experience in Corporate Aviation. Preference will be given to technicians who have Falcon, Hawker, or Pilatus airframe experience. Duties include maintenance and repair on jet & turboprop aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and Repair Station guidelines. Position requires a valid driver’s license, rotating on-call airline support, and availability for occasional travel. Positive team attitude and strong desire to exceed customer expectations is a must.
Avionics/Engineering Service Manager
Manager will oversee Engineering, Avionics Integration, Install/Bench Services,
and provide staff Management. Incumbent will monitor and coordinate
avionics activities successfully and safely while meeting the goals and expectations of
the customer and the company. Requires 15 or more years working in corporate aircraft avionics with minimum of 10 years managing complex aircraft avionics modification and engineering integration services. FCC license, FAA Repairman’s certificate, or A&P Certificate required. Bachelors Degree in Aviation, Business Management, Finance, or equivalent highly
desired.
Avionics Inspector
Incumbent must be a team player and have strong desire to exceed expectations. Position responsibilities include compiling records, reviewing progress & completion of work orders, ensuring work performed meets repair station manual quality and safety standards, liaison with local FAA FSDO on projects, and assisting engineering staff with avionic modifications. Position requirements include 4 years experience in maintenance of corporate aircraft avionics systems, A&P certificate and/or other FAA designee authorizations, 2 years experience in technical writing or document processing, ability to perform post maintenance/modification flight evaluations & checkout, excellent communication both written and verbal, and computer skills including word & excel. Desired skills and qualifications include proficiency with Auto-Cad, DER/DAR (designated engineering representative/designated airworthiness representative), a degree in engineering or equivalent, inspection authorization certificate and strong leadership abilities. Employment contingent on passing background check and drug screen.
